Ronald " Ron" Olson age 83 passed away, Saturday, July 29, 2017 in Bloomington, IL. Ron was born March 26,1934, in Normal, Illinois to George and Lillian Olson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Kay Ropp Olson.

Ron worked as a superintendent of bridge building for West Construction and Stark Excavating for 40 years.

Surviving are his sons Richard , Frisco Colorado. Robert, Morton, Illinois, Mark (Kathie) Normal, Illinois. Three grandchildren, Alexia (Steve) James, Scottsdale AZ, Erica, Chicago IL, Ryne Temple City, CA. Sisters Helen Lewis, Bloomington, IL, Karen (Tom) Cochran,Basking Ridge, NJ.
